Kung Fu Panda Movie Poster

Now here is a Star Packed film, featuring: Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman, Angelina Jolie, Ian McShane, Jackie Chan, and Lucy Liu to name a few. This film is the latest in a string from Paramount and DreamWorks Animation Studio’s that don’t disappoint. This movie is great for the whole family and will have everyone laughing an feeling right along with the characters.

Po (Jack Black) is the son of a noodle maker(James Hong), but to his father’s dismay, Po thinks of nothing other then being the greatest Kung-Fu warrior. It is announced that the the local temple will be holding a demonstration and picking the next Dragon Warrior! Po feels this is finally his chance. The current Master of the Temple, a tortoise name Oogway(Randall Duk Kim), has a vision that an ex student and generally evil leapord Tai Lung (Ian McShane) will come back to claim his prize, the Dragon Scroll.

In a self fulfilling prophecy Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman) sends a page to check on Tai Lung, thus starting the cycle of events that will unlock and free him. Meanwhile Oogway has chosen who will be the next Dragon Warrior, and it is Po! Very angry at having a student that knows nothing of kung-fu, let alone how to be the Dragon Warrior, Master Shifu sets about with the ‘Furious Five’ to get Po to quit.

All in all this movie will live for a long time as a classic in the wake of Samurai Jack! This movie will not disappoint, so if you’re looking for something for the family to watch this weekend, think about picking this one up.
